Hey everyone! Would encourage yall to sign up for this event. The time in the description is the correct time, 4pm EST.
When I first transferred to Stanford after the military, I definitely felt behind. I felt a bunch of self imposed pressure to not just catch up with the students at this school, but with my peer group from high school. "Everybody has their own pace" is true in some respects, but as time is limited I felt the pressure to play catch up with life. I think what I've accomplished in the four years here as relieved that, and my thinking on that has evolved. I've had a lot of fun here, worked very hard, and had many meaningful moments.
@ariana and I were transfer students to Stanford so we both had to integrate with traditional undergrads. We both know what it means to come to an new environment and chart your own path.
@dale convinced me to do this thank him (orrrrrr no???) - have had these chats 1:1 with some students so I hope doing this in a larger setting = more advice for more of you <3
